Damitha Jayarathna
Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Softcodeit is the Brainchild of Damitha Jayarathna. As the CEO and Founder of the company he has lead the way to its present success. Damitha has started his career as a software developer and has been working in various capacities in different levels of leading software, consultancy and financial institutions. The experience of 7 years gained in these ventures has contributed to the growth of Softcodeit as a company. Damitha has graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University UK as a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Information Systems and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Systems from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. He is also a member of British Computer Society and Australian Computer Society.

Viraj Kalinga Abeyrathna
Chief Technology Officer

Viraj is responsible for guiding the Softcodeit team in par with the cutting edge technologies in the field of IT. He also provides guidance to the architectural designs implemented in the development processes of Softcodeit. Viraj has started his career as a Linux system administrator and a solution provider. Moving on, he became a Software Engineer for a leading hospitality application development firm while working as a consultant for leading Financial and Mobile Telecommunication Operators and Electronic Media Networks including Government ICT institutions. Being a Free and Open source Software advocate, Viraj has served in a consultancy capacity to ICTA, FOSS and other open source communities in Sri Lanka. He is currently following a Master degree in Information Systems at Manipal University, India.

Rukshan Dissanayake
Chief Creative Officer

Rukshan holds a unique position in Softcodeit as the Chief Creative Officer for the company. He makes sure that all Softcodeit products are adhering to the current standards and trends. With his instinct for creative designs, he heads the UI Engineering process of the development team to form a fusion of art and technology that adds uniqueness to Softcodeit products. Beginning his career as a lecturer of Information Technology, Rukshan has been with the software and web development industry for a long time before he moved on to UI engineering field in a leading hospitality application provider. Being in the field for 8 years, his experience of Software engineering and natural flair for creative ideas has enabled him to become one of the most successful UI engineers in Sri Lanka. Rukshan is also BCS graduate.
